Illawarra Prayer Network

The Illawarra Prayer Network aims to:-
1. Encourage Christians to pray, especially for
the Illawarra, its churches, and leaders.

2. Facilitate a prayer network from Helensburgh
to Gerroa.

3. Promote church unity in the Illawarra.

Prayer Requests

You are welcome to send in prayer requests about Illawarra regional issues for inclusion in our Clearing the Way for Jesus newsletter.

Personal prayer requests are welcome from anywhere in the world. These will be kept confidential and forwarded to a prayer network prayer group.

National and International matters should be directed to the Australian Prayer Network (see link on right).

House of Prayer and Intercession

Ray Robinson and Michael Sechi of the Saddleback Mountain prayer group have a vision to commence a 24/7 House of Prayer and Intercession (HOPI) in the Illawarra. You can download their vision document here.

Coniston United Church has offered its premises and the Illawarra Prayer Network will support this combined church initiative. Intercessors will not necessarily need to go to Coniston. Prayer groups that are already functioning elsewhere, and people who can't get out, can also participate. A prayer roster (download Excel spreadsheet here) will be maintained and all intercessors and prayer groups are invited to offer a time slot of availability that could range from half an hour to multiple hours.
